This unique event was created to empower Indian and Japanese women living in Japan who carry the spirit of both nations — women who aren’t afraid to take up space, speak their truth, and shine with authenticity. Through fashion, storytelling, and community, Ms. India Japan honours women who live with pride in their heritage and confidence in their future.
But this is more than personal transformation — it’s also about fostering meaningful connections. Who Can Participate?
Ms. India Japan 2025 invites women who proudly embody the values, elegance, and spirit of both India and Japan. This platform is for those who are not only passionate about beauty and fashion, but are also deeply committed to cultural understanding, leadership, and storytelling.
This is your opportunity to represent two rich cultures on one stage—and step into a journey that blends grace with global purpose.
Deadline to register: 15th August, 2025.
For Participants Residing in Japan (Indian & Japanese Nationals)
You must be between 20 to 35 years old at the time of registration.
The pageant is open to both married and unmarried women — because true elegance isn’t defined by marital status.
You must be an Indian or Japanese national currently residing in Japan.
Japanese language skills are not mandatory for Indian participants. Feel free to apply!
You should have a basic understanding of India–Japan relations and a genuine appreciation for both cultures — including their fashion, traditions, philosophies, and the deep-rooted values that define their shared history and collaboration.
You must be willing to travel to India for at least 2 weeks annually for official cultural, promotional, or ambassadorial activities.
Be ready to walk the ramp in both a stunning saree and a traditional kimono. Please note: Participants are required to arrange their own kimono and saree for the event.
Ms. India Japan Comes to India!
For the first time ever, Ms. India Japan opens its doors to Indian women living in India!
What started as an exclusive platform for Indian women living in Japan is now expanding its reach to give every Indian woman in India a chance to shine on the international stage.
Participants from India will go through online selection rounds, and the Top 3 finalists will be flown to Japan to represent their country in the Grand Finale — where they will meet and compete with finalists residing in Japan (including both Indians and Japanese citizens).
From these incredible contenders, one true cultural ambassador will be crowned Ms. India Japan
For Indian and Japanese Participants Living in India
You must be an Indian woman aged between 20 to 35 years at the time of registration. Whether married or unmarried — your confidence, elegance, and pride in your culture are what truly matter.
A love for Indo–Japanese culture is a must! You should be excited to walk the ramp in both a saree and a kimono (to be arranged by the participant). The first round is completely online.
Japanese language skills are not mandatory for Indian participants. Feel free to apply!
Top 3 Finalists must be prepared to travel to Japan for the grand finale — an experience of a lifetime!

Yes. As a cultural ambassador, the winner should be prepared to travel to India for up to two weeks annually for official engagements and representation. All travel and stay will be fully sponsored by the organizers.
