Tokyo, Japan: The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, delivered a captivating keynote address at the “Rising Rajasthan” Roadshow, aimed at attracting investments to the state. The event was graced by the presence of honourable SibiGeorge, who made opening remarks, setting the tone for the discussions.
Mr. Kazuya Nakajo, Executive Vice President of JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), Mr. Takashi Suzuki, Chief Director of JETRO India, Mr. Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary of the Government of Rajasthan, and Mr. Abhinav Banthia from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) also participated in the roadshow, sharing insights into Rajasthan’s remarkable growth journey.
During his address, Chief Minister Sharma highlighted the state’s strategic location, robust infrastructure, and favorable investment climate. He emphasized Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage, natural resources, and skilled workforce, making it an ideal destination for businesses seeking to expand their operations.
Ambassador SibiGeorge commended the Rajasthan government’s efforts to foster a conducive environment for investors. She underlined the strong bilateral relations between India and Japan and expressed confidence in the potential for increased collaboration in various sectors.
Mr. Kazuya Nakajo and Mr. Takashi Suzuki discussed the opportunities for Japanese companies to invest in Rajasthan,particularly in sectors such as manufacturing, renewable energy, and infrastructure development. They highlighted the state’s competitive advantages, including its skilled workforce and government support initiatives.
Mr. Ajitabh Sharma provided an overview of Rajasthan’s recent economic achievements, including its growth rate,industrial development, and infrastructure projects. He emphasized the state’s commitment to providing a hassle-free experience for investors and highlighted the various incentives and support programs available.
Mr. Abhinav Banthia from CII shared his perspective on Rajasthan’s investment landscape, emphasizing the state’s potential for growth in sectors such as tourism, healthcare, and education. He highlighted the role of CII in facilitating partnerships between Indian and Japanese businesses.
The roadshow concluded with a lively Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to engage with the speakers and seek clarification on investment opportunities and challenges.
