Haryana Chief Minister Meets Japanese Ministers to Strengthen Economic and Cultural Ties

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, met with H.E. Mr. Takuma Miyaji, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan. The meeting focused on strengthening investment opportunities in Haryana, building people-to-people connections, and exploring partnerships between Haryana and Japanese prefectures.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister invited Japan to participate as a key partner in the upcoming “Happening Haryana 2026” Investment Summit, scheduled for April 2026. He emphasized Haryana’s commitment to fostering stronger economic and cultural relations with Japan.

Later, Shri Nayab Singh Saini also met H.E. Mr. Yuichiro Koga, State Minister for Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI), Japan. Both leaders discussed Haryana’s role as a gateway for Japanese manufacturing excellence in India.

The discussions covered potential collaborations in next-generation mobility, green energy, advanced electronics, and precision manufacturing. The Chief Minister once again extended an invitation to Japan to join “Happening Haryana 2026” as a partner country, highlighting the state’s focus on innovation and sustainable growth.

These meetings mark an important step toward deepening India–Japan cooperation and positioning Haryana as a leading destination for global investment and technology partnerships.
