In a strong reaffirmation of India’s growing partnership with Japan, the Chief Minister on Monday said that Indo-Japan economic and cultural ties will be further strengthened in the coming years through deeper collaboration, innovation, and people-to-people engagement.

Highlighting the long-standing friendship between India and Japan, the Chief Minister noted that both nations share common democratic values, mutual respect, and a shared vision for sustainable development. “Our partnership with Japan goes beyond trade and investment. It is rooted in trust, shared traditions, and a common commitment to progress,” he said.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Japan has been one of the most trusted economic partners of India, playing a significant role in infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, and skill development. Japanese investments have contributed to industrial corridors, metro rail projects, smart cities, and high-speed rail initiatives across the country.

He added that the state government is actively working to attract more Japanese companies by creating investor-friendly policies, strengthening ease of doing business, and offering world-class infrastructure. Special industrial zones and dedicated facilitation cells are being developed to support Japanese enterprises seeking to expand operations in India.

“Japanese companies are known for their quality, precision, and long-term vision. We are committed to providing them with a stable and growth-oriented ecosystem,” the Chief Minister said.

Boost to Cultural and Educational Exchanges

Beyond economics, the Chief Minister underlined the importance of cultural diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations. He pointed out that exchanges in art, language, education, and tourism have significantly enhanced mutual understanding between the people of both nations.

Student exchange programs, academic collaborations, and skill training initiatives are helping young professionals gain international exposure. The growing interest in Japanese language education and cultural festivals in India reflects the deepening people-to-people connect.

Similarly, Indian culture, yoga, cuisine, and cinema have gained popularity in Japan, creating a vibrant cultural bridge between the two countries.
