The Embassy of India, Tokyo has announced that it will host an Open House for Indian nationals living in Tokyo and across Japan on March 27, 2026. The event will take place at the embassy premises from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM (JST).
According to the announcement, the Open House initiative aims to provide an opportunity for members of the Indian community in Japan to directly interact with embassy officials and raise any issues or concerns they may have regarding consular services or community matters.
The embassy also informed that this initiative will not be a one-time event. The Open House will be organized on the last Friday of every month at 3:00 PM, allowing Indian citizens regular access to embassy representatives for discussions and support.
All Indian nationals residing in Japan are invited to participate in the session. Those who wish to raise specific issues are encouraged to send their queries in advance. The embassy has requested participants to include their full name as mentioned in the passport, passport number, contact details, and address in Japan when submitting their concerns.
Queries can be sent via email to the embassy’s consular section before the meeting to ensure that the relevant officials can address the matters effectively during the session.
The initiative reflects the embassy’s ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with the Indian community in Japan and ensure that citizens have a platform to communicate directly with diplomatic authorities.
The Embassy of India in Tokyo, located in Kudan-Minami, Chiyoda-ku, continues to support Indian nationals through various consular services and community outreach programs, further strengthening ties between the Indian diaspora and diplomatic representatives in Japan. 🇮🇳🇯🇵
