Starting with a small venture in Patna, Ashish and his friend, Buddhisen Bittu, launched ‘Online Cake Bhejo’ (OCB). Despite initial challenges and a mere two or three orders per day, Ashish’s unwavering determination, fueled by his father’s constant support, kept him going.

Determined to stand out, Ashish shifted his focus from traditional bakery items to healthier, millet-based treats. This shift was not just about offering a healthier alternative but also about empowering rural women farmers. By training these women to produce these baked goods, Ashish aimed to provide them with economic opportunities and contribute to their well-being.

OCB’s commitment to quality and its social impact has led to significant growth. The venture now boasts multiple outlets across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, offering a diverse range of millet-based products. With over 50 employees and a substantial turnover, Ashish’s journey is a shining example of how passion, perseverance, and a commitment to social good can lead to remarkable success.

Ashish’s story is a reminder that even in the face of adversity, one can find purpose and make a meaningful impact. His journey from college dropout to successful entrepreneur serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and underscores the importance of following one’s heart and pursuing one’s dreams.
