Bando’s Magnificent Celebration

The Shri Ram Mandir in Bando witnessed an extraordinary turnout of approximately 1500 devotees. The event was graced by the presence of Deputy Chief of Mission Embassy of India, H.E. R Madhusudan as the chief guest, alongside other esteemed dignitaries. The day was filled with sacred ceremonies, including elaborate pujas conducted by Pandit Shresth Shri Munindra Panda ji and Pandit Anup ji. The event was a testament to the tireless efforts of the Mandir trustees, volunteers, and the Seva Prasad making team, whose dedication ensured a memorable experience for all.

A highlight of the celebrations was the beautifully crafted Rath, a result of the collective efforts of the trustees. The event also showcased the talents of artists, musicians, and performers, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to the devotees, sponsors, and donors for their invaluable support.

Kasugai City’s Vibrant Rath Yatra

Simultaneously, Kasugai City in Aichi Prefecture hosted a magnificent Shree Jagannath Rathyatra, drawing a large crowd of Indian and Japanese participants. The event was graced by the presence of Director of Vivekanand Culture Center Embassy of India, Ms Kanika Agarwal as the chief guest, and the Mayor of Kasugai City, Mr Naoki Ishiguro as the guest of honor. The celebrations included cultural performances, a souvenir magazine launch, and speeches by dignitaries.

Both events were marked by a strong sense of community, devotion, and cultural exchange. The organizers expressed their hope to continue these traditions in the coming years, fostering deeper connections between India and Japan.
