On World Environment Day 2025, India once again demonstrated its strong commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. At the India Pavilion – Bharat at Osaka Expo 2025, a special message from Shri Bhupender Yadav, Hon’ble Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, was shared, reaffirming India’s leadership in global climate action.
Ambassador @AmbSibiGeorge also addressed the gathering, focusing on this year’s powerful theme:
“One Nation, One Mission: End Plastic Pollution.”
This message is not just for leaders and policymakers — it is a call to every citizen of India. Plastic pollution affects our air, our water, our health, and our future. It is a problem that cannot be solved without the active participation of the people.
Whether it’s refusing single-use plastics, switching to eco-friendly alternatives, or spreading awareness, every action counts. This World Environment Day reminds us that we are all stewards of nature. India’s mission to end plastic pollution begins in our homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
Let us all stand together — one nation, one mission — and take responsibility for a cleaner, greener planet.
