New Delhi, India – In a momentous event, the Kasagi Gallery, a renowned institution with a century-long legacy in Japan, has made its triumphant return to India. The gallery’s re-entry was facilitated by Connect India Japan, with the invaluable support of the Japan Foundation.
The opening ceremony, held on October 5th at the Japan Foundation in New Delhi, was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Nagaraju Maddirala IAS, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India; Dr. Koji Sato, Director General of the Japan Foundation; Mr. Sikka, Group Director of the Piramal Group and the author of the blockbuster Hindi film “Raazi”; and a host of enthusiastic India-Japan enthusiasts.
The event culminated in a captivating Bharatnatyam performance by a young Japanese girl, a testament to the deep cultural exchange between the two nations.
