Maruti Suzuki Makes Inroads into Japan with Fronx Export

The first shipment of over 1,600 Fronx units has already departed from Pipavav Port in Gujarat, bound for the Japanese market. Notably, this is the first SUV from Maruti Suzuki to be introduced in Japan, with the Baleno being the only other Indian-made car previously exported to the country.

The Fronx, a stylish and feature-packed SUV, has garnered significant popularity in the Indian market since its launch earlier this year. Its success has prompted Maruti Suzuki to explore export opportunities, and Japan, with its discerning automotive market, was a natural choice.

This development underscores India’s growing prowess in automotive manufacturing and design. It is expected to boost the country’s image as a reliable and cost-effective production base for global automakers.
