Netflix has taken its global phenomenon, Squid Game, to the next level by transforming the heart of Thailand into a real-life playground inspired by the series. In a grand celebration for the sequel of the show, Bangkok’s iconic Chao Phraya River became the stage for an unforgettable spectacle.
A Giant Younghee Doll Steals the Spotlight
The centerpiece of the event was a towering 12-meter-tall replica of Younghee, the unforgettable doll from the series’ first deadly game, Red Light, Green Light. With an eerily lifelike presence, the doll loomed over the river, capturing the attention of fans and onlookers alike.
Adding to the excitement were guards clad in the series’ signature pink uniforms, patrolling the waters on jet skis. High above, drones hovered in synchronized formations, turning the sky into a stage for cinematic visuals that felt straight out of the series itself.
