Hansalpur, Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday described the relationship between India and Japan as one of the most special and enduring global partnerships, built on cultural ties, mutual trust, and shared aspirations.

Speaking at an event in Hansalpur, Gujarat, where he launched a series of green mobility initiatives, the Prime Minister highlighted how the partnership between the two countries extends far beyond diplomacy. He recalled the long history of friendship and cooperation, noting that the India-Japan bond continues to strengthen across diverse sectors.

PM Modi cited the rapid progress of Maruti Suzuki in Gujarat as a model of collaboration that has contributed significantly to India’s industrial growth. He also underscored Gujarat’s leadership in areas such as education, recreation, and industrial development, where Japan has played a pivotal role through investments and joint ventures.
