Although the Mukherjee Commission’s findings have cast doubt on the identity of the ashes previously believed to be Netaji’s, Renkoji Temple continues to serve as a significant memorial. The temple has consistently organised a remembrance ceremony every year and houses an impressive statue of Netaji, making it a revered site for those honouring his legacy.

Netaji, often referred to as the “Hero of Asia” by former Japanese Foreign Minister, continues to inspire millions. The temple invited people from all walks of life to come together and pay tribute to this iconic figure.
