Saalumarada Thimmakka: A Tree-Planting Legend

Saalumarada Thimmakka, a humble woman from Karnataka, India, is a living legend. At over 110 years old, she has earned the title “Mother of Trees” for her remarkable achievement of planting over 8,000 trees in her lifetime. Her story is a testament to the power of one person’s dedication and the profound impact they can have on their environment.
