Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to the airport to welcome His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, on his visit to India. Addressing him as his brother, the Prime Minister highlighted the close and warm relationship shared between the two leaders and their countries.
Prime Minister Modi said that the visit of the UAE President illustrates the importance he attaches to a strong India–UAE friendship. Over the years, bilateral ties between India and the UAE have grown significantly, marked by cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, energy, defence, and people-to-people relations.
The Prime Minister also expressed his anticipation for the upcoming discussions, noting that the talks would further strengthen cooperation and deepen the comprehensive partnership between the two nations.
