Shri R. Madhu Sudan, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Tokyo, joined members of Team India in Japan to pay heartfelt floral tributes to legendary freedom fighter and national hero Shri Rash Behari Bose on his death anniversary. The solemn ceremony was held at Tama Cemetery in Tokyo, where Bose spent his final years and was laid to rest.

Remembered as one of the most influential revolutionaries in India’s freedom struggle, Rash Behari Bose played a pivotal role in organizing revolutionary activities against British rule. After leaving India, he found refuge in Japan, where he continued his mission for India’s independence and worked tirelessly to strengthen India–Japan ties.

During the tribute ceremony, officials reflected on Bose’s immense contribution to India’s struggle for freedom, particularly his role in laying the foundation for the Indian Independence League and his influence on the formation of the Indian National Army (INA).
