Ambassador-designate Nagma M. Mallick addressed distinguished scientists, academicians, and industry leaders at the International Conference on Frontier Technologies (ICFAST TOKYO 2026), hosted at the prestigious University of Tokyo. The conference was organized as part of the celebrations marking the India-Japan Year of Science, Technology and Innovation Exchange 2025–26, underscoring the growing strategic partnership between the two nations.
Strengthening India-Japan Scientific Cooperation
In her address, Ambassador Mallick highlighted the deepening collaboration between India and Japan in science and technology, emphasizing that innovation-driven partnerships are central to building resilient and future-ready economies. She also acknowledged the leadership of B. V. R. Mohan Reddy, Chairman of the Board of Governors at IIT Hyderabad, for his efforts in bridging academia and industry.
