Modi and Macron Celebrate Year of Innovation at Gateway of India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron jointly witnessed a spectacular AI-driven immersive cultural experience at the iconic Gateway of India.

The event highlighted the cultural and artistic dimension of the India–France Year of Innovation, blending heritage, digital creativity, and advanced artificial intelligence to create a visually stunning showcase.

Leaders emphasized that the Year of Innovation will further strengthen creative, cultural, and people-to-people ties between the two nations. UK Deputy Prime Minister Arrives for AI Impact Summit

In New Delhi, a warm welcome was extended to UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy upon his arrival to attend the AI Impact Summit 2026.

His visit is expected to further strengthen the India–UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with a strong emphasis on trusted, inclusive, and responsible artificial intelligence. Both nations are prioritizing AI as a driver of innovation, economic growth, and shared prosperity while ensuring ethical frameworks and safeguards remain central to technological advancement.

Serbia President’s Visit Strengthens Bilateral Friendship

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, was warmly received at the airport in New Delhi by Minister of State Pabitra Margherita.

His participation in the AI Impact Summit is expected to provide further momentum to the longstanding and close friendship between India and Serbia. The visit underscores growing cooperation in technology, trade, and innovation, alongside traditional diplomatic engagement.

Sri Lankan President’s Visit Highlights Regional Ties

The President of Sri Lanka also arrived in New Delhi and was received by Minister of State, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Raj Bhushan Choudhary.

The visit is expected to further boost the multifaceted and close partnership between India and Sri Lanka, rooted in deep historical, cultural, and people-to-people ties. Cooperation in development, connectivity, and regional stability remains central to bilateral relations.
