By training together, the participating forces will gain a better understanding of each other’s operational methods and strengthen mutual trust.

Set against the backdrop of Meghalaya’s scenic landscape, the exercise also highlights India’s growing role in promoting regional security partnerships. The Indian Army stated that PRAGATI symbolizes a collective commitment toward collaborative growth, regional stability, and a secure Indo-Pacific environment.

Military experts believe that such multinational engagements are important in today’s evolving security landscape, where cooperation among friendly nations plays a key role in addressing emerging threats and ensuring maritime and regional security.

The first edition of Exercise PRAGATI is expected to pave the way for stronger defence ties and future collaborative initiatives among the participating countries.
