The much-anticipated interaction between the Indian community in Japan and Shri Piyush Goyal, India’s Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, scheduled for May 14, 2025, has been canceled.
The event, which was to be hosted by the Embassy of India at the VCC Auditorium in Tokyo, aimed to foster engagement between the Minister and members of the Indian diaspora. However, due to unforeseen scheduling changes in the Minister’s itinerary, the Embassy has announced the cancellation of the program.
Participants who had registered via the Google Form will be notified individually. The Embassy expressed regret over the cancellation and extended its appreciation for the community’s enthusiastic response.

The Embassy has assured that it will continue to create future opportunities for dialogue and engagement between the Indian government and the diaspora in Japan.
