Japanese Companies Eager to Hire Indian Talent: JETRO Director General

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), a government-related organization that promotes trade and investment between Japan and other countries, has expressed keen interest in connecting Indian talent with Japanese companies. According to the JETRO Director General,  there is a growing demand for skilled Indian professionals in various sectors in Japan.

In a recent interview, the Director General highlighted the increasing number of Japanese companies expanding their operations in India and the corresponding need for Indian talent with relevant skills and expertise. He emphasized that the Japanese corporate culture, known for its emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and quality, aligns well with the values of many Indian professionals.

JETRO has been actively working to bridge the gap between Indian talent and Japanese companies through various initiatives. These include:

Job fairs and recruitment events: JETRO organizes job fairs and recruitment events in India to connect Indian job seekers with Japanese companies.

Skill development programs: JETRO supports skill development programs in India to equip Indian professionals with the skills required by Japanese companies.

Cultural exchange programs: JETRO facilitates cultural exchange programs between India and Japan to help Indian professionals understand Japanese business culture.
