Passenger’s Explanation and Investigation

Upon landing, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) detained Mani R and eight companions traveling with him. The group, all first-time flyers on a pilgrimage to Kashi, explained that Mani R had mistakenly attempted to open the cockpit door, believing it to be the restroom entrance  .

Authorities conducted thorough interrogations and verified the passengers’ credentials with Bengaluru police. No suspicious activities or intentions were found. The group was released and allowed to continue their journey  .
