In a major push to deepen economic cooperation between Haryana and Japan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, held a series of one-on-one meetings with top Japanese corporations, including Aisin, Air Water, TASI, Nambu, Denso, Sojitz, Nissin Foods, Kawakin Holdings, Toppan, TDK Corporation, and Seiren Corporation.
These discussions focused on greenfield investments across key sectors such as automotive, electronics and precision components, industrial parts, metalworking, and processed foods, underscoring Haryana’s growing appeal as a global investment destination.
Strengthening Economic & Technological Collaboration
During the meetings, the Chief Minister highlighted the Haryana Government’s commitment to fostering a pro-industry ecosystem built on transparency, infrastructure excellence, and investor-friendly policies.
The discussions also emphasized enhanced engagement with Japanese SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and technological collaborations aimed at boosting innovation and high-quality manufacturing in Haryana.
Shri Nayab Singh Saini reiterated Haryana’s vision of becoming a key node in Japan’s global supply chain strategy, especially in high-value sectors such as automotive components, precision engineering, and advanced manufacturing.
Haryana Showcases Model Industrial Townships
The Haryana delegation showcased the state’s policy framework on Model Industrial Townships (MITs) — a cornerstone initiative designed to provide world-class infrastructure, plug-and-play facilities, and single-window clearances to international investors.
The Chief Minister invited Japanese companies to explore joint ventures and greenfield projects within Haryana’s upcoming industrial clusters, which are strategically located near major logistics corridors such as the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway.
A Commitment to Long-Term Partnership
The one-on-one engagements reinforced Haryana’s longstanding partnership with Japan, which has already resulted in several successful industrial collaborations. Japanese companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Honda, and Yamaha have played a pivotal role in transforming Haryana into India’s leading automotive manufacturing hub.
By opening doors for new collaborations in emerging sectors, these meetings aim to expand Japanese participation in Haryana’s industrial growth story and enhance bilateral trade, investment, and technology exchange.
Looking Ahead
The visit marks an important milestone in the Haryana-Japan partnership, strengthening economic diplomacy and paving the way for sustainable, innovation-driven industrial growth.
With its investor-friendly environment and strategic connectivity, Haryana continues to position itself as Japan’s preferred investment destination in India.
