The Embassy of India, Tokyo has announced that it will host its monthly Open House on Friday, April 24, 2026, inviting Indian nationals living in Japan to directly engage with embassy officials.
The session will take place at the embassy premises in Chiyoda City from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM (JST). Located at 2-2-11 Kudan-Minami, the embassy serves as a vital link between India and its diaspora in Japan, offering consular support and community engagement opportunities.
The Open House initiative provides a platform for Indian citizens to raise concerns, seek assistance, and discuss issues related to consular services, documentation, and general welfare. The embassy has also confirmed that such Open House sessions will be held regularly at 3:00 PM on the last Friday of every month, ensuring consistent accessibility for the community.
Participants who wish to address specific matters are encouraged to submit their queries in advance via email. Submissions must include full name as per passport, passport number, contact details, and current address in Japan. This step helps officials prepare and respond more effectively during the session.
Through initiatives like the Open House, the Embassy continues to strengthen its outreach and support system for Indians residing in Japan, fostering transparency, communication, and community well-being.
