Suzuki highlighted that Maruti Suzuki achieved a record production volume of 2.35 million vehicles in FY2025, placing it among a select group of global automotive companies that have reached such scale within a single country under a single brand. He said this achievement demonstrates the strength and resilience of the Indian market.

He also underscored India’s growing role as a global manufacturing hub. With record vehicle exports of approximately 448,000 units in FY2025, Suzuki continues to export vehicles manufactured in India to regions including Africa and the Middle East, supporting the vision of “Make in India, Make for the World.”

Discussing the future, Suzuki praised India’s ambitious Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, describing it as a roadmap not only for economic growth but also for inclusive development, innovation, and sustainability. He emphasized that mobility will play a crucial role in achieving this vision by improving access to employment, education, and healthcare.

The Suzuki chief also highlighted the company’s multi-pathway approach to sustainable mobility, combining electric vehicles, hybrids, CNG, biofuels, flex-fuel technologies, and biogas solutions tailored to India’s diverse needs. He noted that biogas, in particular, offers a unique opportunity to support rural development, reduce emissions, strengthen energy security, and create economic opportunities for local communities.

Looking beyond automobiles, Suzuki announced continued support for Indian entrepreneurs and small businesses through initiatives such as Next Bharat Ventures, aimed at fostering livelihoods, strengthening rural economies, and supporting grassroots innovation.

“India’s growth has always been driven by its people,” Suzuki said, adding that the company hopes to contribute not only to the 400 million lives it already touches through its business but also to the country’s “Next Billion” people who are progressing toward new opportunities and prosperity.

Concluding his remarks, Suzuki reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to India, stating that Suzuki will continue to walk alongside Bharat, contributing to its development, supporting its people, and helping build a sustainable future together.
