Major facilities such as the Narendra Modi Stadium, the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave, and newly developed indoor arenas and aquatic centres are expected to play a central role in hosting events.

The Games are anticipated to welcome thousands of athletes and officials from Commonwealth nations, while also boosting tourism, infrastructure, and economic activity in Gujarat. Large-scale investments in transport, accommodation, and sports facilities are expected in the lead-up to the event.

The centenary edition aims to showcase India’s growing capabilities in hosting global sporting events and leave a lasting legacy for athletes and sports development across the country. With preparations set to gather pace over the coming years, Ahmedabad is gearing up to become the sporting capital of the Commonwealth in 2030.
