Assam is looking to deepen its collaboration with Japan following a meeting between Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Japan’s Ambassador to India, Ono Keiichi, in New Delhi. Hosted at the Ambassador’s residence during a traditional Cha-no-yu (Japanese tea ceremony), the meeting focused on expanding cooperation in key sectors, including semiconductor research, clean energy, and Japanese language training.
