Rajasthan Diaspora Welcomed Chief Minister in Tokyo

– A vibrant celebration of Rajasthani culture and connection to the homeland unfolded in Tokyo as the Rajasthan Foundation hosted a grand event to welcome the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The gathering, attended by prominent dignitaries and the Rajasthani diaspora living in Japan, was a testament to the enduring spirit of Rajasthan.

The event commenced with a traditional welcome by Naveen Sonkiya, Director of Sekai Boeki Ltd., who adorned attendees with Rajasthani pagdi and dupattas. His heartfelt hospitality set the stage for a memorable evening filled with pride and camaraderie.

Addressing the gathering, the Indian Ambassador to Japan, His Excellency Sibi George, along with the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, emphasized the importance of maintaining strong ties with the motherland. The Chief Minister urged the diaspora to contribute to Rajasthan’s development while staying connected to their roots.

In recognition of their presence, several members of the Rajasthani community presented the dignitaries with flower bouquets and souvenir gifts. The event was a resounding success, fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity among the attendees.
