Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday showcased the state’s cultural richness and industrial potential at the Chhattisgarh Pavilion during the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
The pavilion, set up by the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation, drew over 22,000 visitors on the opening day. It highlighted the state’s tribal art, weaving, handicrafts, bamboo products, herbal items, Bastar art, and folk performances, which fascinated international guests.
“Our identity is not limited to heritage and folk culture alone, but we are also advancing rapidly in the direction of industry, innovation, and global cooperation,” Sai said.
At the Investor Connect event, the CM interacted with business leaders and stressed Chhattisgarh’s readiness to emerge as a global investment destination. Officials said the pavilion reinforced a reassuring image of the state’s industrial capacity and future opportunities.
Visitors from Japan and other countries lauded Chhattisgarh’s efforts to balance tradition with modern growth, noting its appeal as both a cultural and economic hub.
