Developed at an estimated cost of $16.95 billion, the park represents the Government of India’s ambitious push to modernize textile infrastructure and create globally competitive manufacturing ecosystems.

The PM MITRA initiative operates under the government’s “5F Vision”  Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign  aimed at building an integrated value chain from raw material production to international exports.

The park is designed to support the entire textile production process under one ecosystem, including:

● Textile manufacturing
● Processing units
● Apparel production
● Logistics infrastructure
● Export support facilities
● Research and innovation centers

Officials believe the integrated approach will help reduce logistics costs, improve supply chain efficiency, and increase India’s textile export competitiveness.

The inauguration is also expected to boost industrial growth in Telangana while creating large-scale employment opportunities across multiple skill levels.

Industry experts say the PM MITRA Park could become a major hub for both domestic and international textile companies seeking advanced infrastructure and streamlined production facilities.

India’s textile sector remains one of the country’s largest employment generators and contributes significantly to exports, manufacturing output, and rural livelihoods.

With the launch of the Warangal PM MITRA Park, the government aims to attract further foreign investment, encourage innovation, and position India as a leading global textile manufacturing destination.

The project is also expected to support sustainable industrial development by integrating modern infrastructure, efficient resource management, and improved connectivity within the textile ecosystem.

Officials describe the park as a transformative step toward building world-class textile manufacturing clusters capable of competing with major global production hubs.
