The 4th meeting of the India-Japan Joint Working Group (JWG) on Food Processing was held successfully, reinforcing the growing partnership between the two nations in the food processing sector. The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Preet Pal Singh, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, and Mr. Sasaji Ken, Deputy Director-General of Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in productive discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in food processing, packaging technologies, and cold-chain infrastructure.
