Tokyo, 22nd January 2025: The Embassy of India in Tokyo has organised a special interaction session for the Indian community in Japan with Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam. The event , aims at strengthening ties between the Assamese diaspora in Japan and their roots in India.
The initiative, themed #ConnectingHimalayaswithMountFuji, highlights cultural and economic connections, fostering a sense of unity among the Indian community abroad. Dr. Sarma will engage with attendees, addressing their concerns and aspirations, while emphasizing Assam’s developmental trajectory and global outreach.
