Tokyo, Japan – The Indian Embassy in Tokyo has extended a warm invitation to all members of the Indian community and friends of India to join the celebration of the 76th Republic Day of India. The Flag Unfurling Ceremony will be held on Sunday, 26th January 2025, at the Embassy premises located at 2-2-11 Kudan-Minami Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo, 102-0074.
The event will commence at 8:00 AM with an assembly at the Embassy. At 8:15 AM, the highlight of the ceremony will be the Flag Unfurling by H.E. Mr. Sibi George, Ambassador of India to Japan, followed by the singing of the Indian National Anthem.
Subsequently, at 8:25 AM, the Ambassador will read the address to the nation by the Honorable President of India. To enhance the patriotic fervor, students will then perform a rendition of patriotic songs at 8:40 AM.
The Embassy has requested all attendees to bring a valid ID card, such as a passport or driver’s license, for entry to the premises. For security reasons, large bags, suitcases, and other bulky items are not permitted.
Furthermore, it is important to note that no parking spaces will be available for personal vehicles.
