India’s Underprivileged Golfers Shine at Asia-Pacific Championship

Tokyo, Japan Five talented young golfers from India, all supported by the Golf Foundation, are making waves at the recently concluded Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) Junior Championship held near Tokyo.

Established in 2000 by Amit Luthra, the Golf Foundation empowers underprivileged youngsters with a passion for golf. This tournament serves as a testament to the foundation’s success, with five out of India’s six junior representatives coming from their programs.

The young athletes, three boys and two girls, are not only representing their country on the international stage but are also excelling individually. Their impressive performances highlight the vital role the Golf Foundation plays in nurturing talent and creating opportunities for those facing financial limitations.
