As part of the lead-up to International Day of Yoga 2026, VCC Tokyo organized a special yoga session at Saitama University, introducing students to the transformative benefits of yoga and mindfulness. More than 50 students enthusiastically participated in the session, learning essential breathing techniques and meditation practices designed to promote relaxation, focus, and emotional balance.
The event offered participants an opportunity to experience yoga not merely as physical exercise, but as a holistic path to mental clarity and overall well-being. Through guided practice, students explored techniques that help reduce stress, improve concentration, and foster inner peace.
The initiative reflects growing global interest in yoga as a powerful tool for health and wellness, especially among young people navigating academic and personal challenges. By bringing the spirit of yoga to university campuses, VCC Tokyo continues to strengthen cultural exchange and promote awareness of India’s ancient wellness tradition in Japan.
The session marked an inspiring step toward IDY 2026, encouraging students to embrace yoga as a lifelong practice for balance, resilience, and harmony in everyday life.
