India and Japan have unveiled an ambitious five-year Action Plan on Human Resource Cooperation that aims to facilitate the exchange of more than 500,000 people between the two countries. The details were shared by Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, where he noted that the initiative forms part of the Joint Vision for the Next Decade, adopted during the India-Japan Annual Summit in Tokyo last year.
