Highlighting the upcoming World Food India event, scheduled for September 19-22 in New Delhi, Ambassador George urged Japanese participants to attend. The event promises to showcase the latest innovations, technologies, and investment prospects in India’s food industry.

India’s food processing sector is experiencing rapid growth, driven by increasing urbanization, rising disposable incomes,and a growing middle class. The government has identified the sector as a key driver of economic growth and employment generation.

Japan, renowned for its expertise in food technology and quality standards, is seen as a valuable partner in India’s food processing journey. The ambassador expressed confidence that the collaboration between the two nations will lead to mutually beneficial outcomes.

By encouraging Japanese participation in World Food India, India aims to foster stronger economic ties and explore potential partnerships in areas such as food processing equipment, technology, and supply chain management.
